Linda Blue - Commodore

Linda Blue grew up in Sacramento, a prime location to enjoy boating and water sports in Folsom Lake, the American River, the Sacramento River and Delta.  She moved to the Bay Area to attend UC Berkeley where she enjoyed sailing and wind surfing in the Bay.  Her best memories on the water were while living in Amsterdam when she would sail with her friends until 11:00PM during the light of the long summer days and cruise the canals in flat bottom antique metal boats in winter.  Linda was a lifeguard and played Water Polo at UC Berkeley and for the City of Amsterdam.

Linda has been employed in Medical Sales and Marketing for the past 8 years  previously working in athletic marketing, grant management, high tech international marketing and sales. She is a Marketing and Business Management Consultant.  Linda lives with her husband Forest, and children Bella (6) and Elliott (4) in Petaluma.  She enjoys cruising from the Delta Loop to Sacramento in her Sea Ray which is currently docked at Oxbow Marina.

Martin Little - Vice Commodore

Martin Little grew up in Northern California and has lived in California his entire life. Although my parents never owned a boat, I never passed up an opportunity to go boating with friends. I love being on the water. I moved to Petaluma in 1990 and met my wife, Suzanne, in 1994. I have three adult daughters, an adult stepson and four grandchildren. My wife and I joined the Petaluma Yacht Club in 2004 and have been active members since. Suzanne has served two years as Galley Mate and two years as Secretary. I have served on the Board for the last four years. We own two boats, "Little Pleasure" (1998 SeaRay 215 express cruiser) and "Little More Pleasure" (1978 31' Silverton). We enjoy our friends and family at the Petaluma Yacht Club and are looking forward to a fun filled year of boating and activities.

Gerry Reinartz - Rear Commodore

Gerry Reinartz grew up in the central valley of California.  He then moved to Monterey where he lived near the ocean and sailed the Monterey Bay with friends.  He also scuba dived and was a docent at the Monterey Aquarium.

Later, his work as an engineer took him to Northern California which began his connection with sailing the San Francisco Bay.  Always liking a project, Gerry finally bought his own 30 foot sailboat with his wife.  The boat needed "some work" and Gerry is still busy restoring the boat which is not yet in the water.

Gerry and his wife Nancy joined Petaluma Yacht Club several years ago and now as Rear Commodore is excited about being in charge of cruise in's for sister PICYA clubs near Petaluma.  Feel free to email gerry if your PICYA club is planning a cruise to Petaluma.

David Quist - Secretary

David Quist and wife Janny van Aalderen joined the club this past June 2010. "We are currently between boats but having moved to Petaluma from ocean front condos in Hawaii last year love the water in all its forms- being on it, in it, looking at it, being under it and drinking it as the ice in our drinks!" David is a retired capital medical equipment sales and marketing executive having been secretary and president at several 100+ unit resort condo associations. Janny, a multi-lingual Dutch national, is a tour guide for Europeans for the Western United States specializing in the US Parks such as Yosemite, Bryce, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Muir Woods, etc.
